Fighting a mountain with a snowboard is an exhausting struggle . During my first day at Big White (Kelowna,BC) I had the best run of my life. It was a beautiful sunny day and I was carving up snow like I never have before. Sadly, after the first day things quickly went downhill for me because of a blister that formed on my left heel and my right knee acting up (again!). I was fighting through the pain and fatigue on the remaining days on the mountain to the point where it just wasn’t fun anymore. Call me a crotchety old man, go ahead, it won’t be the first time I’ve been called that!
My buddy Brad did manage to get some great footage with his GoPro and point+shoot cameras. Here’s a quick clip that he made:
